Chocolate Snacks That Need To Come Back
Retro chocolate is the best chocolate, it's just a fact of life. Yes there may be more varieties around today, but as we all know quality trumps quantity every time. From the Malteser teaser in celebrations to Mars delight these are just the best of the best that need to return to our cupboards.
Mars Delight
Mars Delight, imagine someone took the inside of a regular mars bar, stripped it out and put a flake in with a bit biscuit too boot. Sounds epic right? It was it entered our lives in 2004, but was sadly discontinued in 2008. Fans of the bar are so rampant they started to rally up signatures with a petition to bring it back. Alas it has not worked, ya know, since mars hates money now apparently.
Time Out
March 2016, a day that will live in infamy. Cadburys announced that time out as we knew it would cease to be. The absolute weapons at Cadburys said that they had ‘combined the two original slim fingers into one delicious, wafery bar’, and that it is now called the ‘Time Out Wafer’. Who asked for this? No one that's who.
Snaps
Imagine a pringle, but is chocolate...yes it was as good as you are imagining. these thin and crisp chocolate crisp thingys came in all sorts of flavours as well. Eating a whole pack in one sitting was the norm quite frankly, god we would love them back.
Kit Kat Senses
An absolute wildcard by nestle this one, but it worked its way into our hearts and tummies for all of its lifespan. Now their is a selection box available with more flavours but to honest the 1st big bar was the best.
Snow Flakes
When the geniuses at Cadbury decided to put their white ‘Dream’ chocolate inside a standard flake and blow our tiny minds! Who would have thought that this would be such a popular item!? Is the Dream bar next?!?
Taz
Ali vs Frasier, Rangers vs Celtic and Freddos vs Taz. You could pick up a Taz at the same time if your second name was ‘rich’. Lovely cadburys with their signature carmel. But the eventual winner of the battle was freddo since Taz was discontinued and replaced with the caramel Freddo instead.
Echo
Fox’s Echo bars were a staple for mine and pretty much everyone's lunch box. Perfect size for dipping into a cup of tea if you're feeling brave. The milk and white chocolate ones were the most popular for obvious reasons (they were AMAZING)
Malteser Teasers in celebrations
You know how whenever you eat a tub of Celebrations, you say: ‘why don’t they just make an entire tub of the Malteser ones?’ well it was the thinking before they removed them!
They are now in bar form which is good! But to be honest we would all swap them with bountys in a heartbeat wouldn't we?
